Eyebrows are becoming a fashion statement to the face more and more every day. This is not surprising when the eyes are generally the first thing we look at when we engage with someone. Our eyes show our emotions and it’s often that it is said that the “eyes are the window to the soul”. With this in mind, people are paying more attention on their eyes when it comes to beauty and they want to prevent the brow and eye area from the ageing process. Sagging or slackening of the brow can often make the eye area appear puffy, tired and aged.
An eyebrow lift may drastically change the appearance of your face; making the eye area firmer, smoother and fresher. Eyebrows may be achieved though:
- Silhouette Soft intra-dermal threads
- Botulinum Toxin A
- Intra-dermal Fillers
Your doctor will be able to advise you at your consultation as to what the best method for your brow lift may be.
FAQ on Brow Lift
The most common effects are bruising and puckering (unevenness). These effects subside after a maximum of 5 days. There is a downtime from strenuous physical activity for 2 days.
The Brow Lift does not remain permanent. The Botox® will dissipate after 4-6 months and will require touch ups accordingly, while the fillers last up until over a year and should be maintained according to their absorption. The intra-dermal threads will last for two years.
